As cities strive to reduce emissions and provide efficient electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, VPG EV Solutions emerges as a beacon of innovation and reliability.
Newport County Council approached us for a charging solution for their new fleet of 12 electric Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs).

After the consultation, NCC specified the Kempower C800 Power Unit with 4 dual port Satellite Chargers to distribute to 8 charging bays.
NCC opted for the intelligent Dynamic Power Management to make best use of the grid supply and the longer 7m cables for better accessibility, while VPG EV Solutions installed our specially fabricated safety frames for increased protection.
The Depot Master tier of ChargEye gives NCC increased charge management and control, including charge prioritisation, scheduled charging, and energy cost optimisation.
